St. Augustine

I just finished a lecture course on Wonderium (formally The Great Courses),titled, "The City of God", by St. Augustine.  I enjoyed it very much and learned much about the history of the early common era Roman history and Christianity, as well as the fall of the Roman Empire.

St. Augustine was a very intelligent and wise man, and a great Philosopher/Theologian.

I am currently embarking upon the task of reading the Book, it will be a lengthy task, as it is over one thousand pager long.

Another note: The Lecturer, Dr. Charles Mathews was fantastic, He has a great vocabulary in both English and Latin, and a great speaking style.
