Once again, I forgot my Blog existed.  Well, I'm back now, and I hope I can remember to keep up some dialog.

A lot of interests have come to my interest in the past few years, I'll list some of them with this post.

I have practically lost interest in Birding the past few years, as the bird populations in the Klamath Basin have dwindled.  I have no knowledge as to what has caused this other than it has been somewhat dry here the past few seasons.

I have filled my time with some other activities, on and off, over the past few years:

 Collecting and shooting firearms (no hunting though).

 ATV riding throughout the local mountains and backcountry.

 Collecting knives of all sorts (Display only).

 Artwork  Mostly pencil, mono and color, and some watercolor painting.

 I did make one seminal trip:  I visited, Cape Town South Africa, for a week and a half.

 Reading.  My reading seems to have no bounds: novels of all genera, Philosophy (both classical and modern), History, and Buddhism/Zen.

The art shown above is a new interest for me: The artist Maynard Dixson, and the style of; South Western Landscapes.  (I made up an artistic pseudonym: "rexnemo").

My current reading is, Steven Pinker's, Enlignment Now.
