Hello Everybody,
I'm contemplating getting myself an electric bicycle, fat tire, mountain type. Anyone have any experience or knowledge about them? They look like it might be fun to ride the dirt roads in the woods.

I have no experience, but like you I'm contemplating ebike ownership. Too many hills in Portland area for my tired old bones to enjoy my regular (read: back in SoCal) bike regimen! Haven't done any real research yet.
One of my main questions is just how steep an incline can one of the more powerful ones climb?
I also believe that one would be useful for just minor little jaunts around the neighborhood instead of using an automobile.
Keep me informed if you do some research or buy one. Your getting one would probably push me over the top to get one too.
