Slow news day in the Klamath Basin.
Oops, wrong picture, try the next one!
To be fair and balanced, I must admit that it was rainy and cloudy all day today, here in the Basin.
Spring has sprung! Everyone is mowing and cleaning up their flower beds. The Daffodils are now blooming in all their yellow beauty, the Tulips will be blooming, with their multicolored splendor, in a couple of weeks. Nancy and I will put out all the yard art and bird bathes for display, tomorrow. The Gazebo cover will go on next week, maybe. We have a few ambitious yard projects we want to do this summer: First off, we want to put in the water pond we have been putting off for three years, and second, a new bird bath with a running water feature. We have other ideas too, but I think we will wait until we finish the first two before we talk about the others.
A few Klamath Facts:
Did you know?
The City of Klamath Falls’ motto is: “Oregon’s City of Sunshine”?
The City of Klamath Falls’ symbol/Logo is: “The White Pelican”?
The Lower Klamath Wildlife Refuge is, the first waterfowl refuge created in the United States?

Did I mention that I like it here in Klamath Falls?
