Movie Review: Sentinel.
This movie is entertaining and worth the price of a ticket, if you’re paying senior prices, as I do.
It turns out to be a typical, but fair, action thriller, cop movie. No academy nominations for anything will be made for this movie; it must have come from the same formula and machine as Michael’s last movie, of a month or so ago, so impressing that I can not even remember the name of it now. Let’s see… what was I talking about… oh, yeah, Sentinel.

The highlight of the evening though was one of the trailers shown: Pathfinder (2006). Unless they shot their entire wad in the trailer, it looked promising. Its plot is of Vikings interacting with Native Americans in the eleventh century. I think it may be based on some archeological evidence discovered in the United States at some point in time.
Oop’s: I think I might have been mesmerized by the trailer, I found the following information on its Web Site, and it does not look promising!

Production has started on Phoenix Pictures latest film, "PATHFINDER," directed by Marcus Nispel ("Texas Chainsaw Massacre") and featuring "Doom" star Karl Urban, Moon Bloodgood, Clancy Brown, Jay Tavare, Nathaniel Arcand, Ralf Moeller and Russell Means.
Phoenix Pictures released the following synopsis of "Pathfinder," a movie based on the findings of 1,000 year-old Norse artifacts and inspired by Nils Gaup's film, "Ofelas": The film centers on a boy left behind by the Norsemen 15 years prior to their return to the New World. The child is raised by American Indians. When Norsemen storm the eastern shores, once again waging a barbaric campaign, they slaughter the tribe that adopted him.
