Birding the Basin. Nancy and I were out to Miller Island, one of our favorite birding spots, last Wednesday, and got a couple of good digital images. Our main findings for the trip were: five Sandhill Cranes, A flock of Yellow Headed Black Birds, the first ones of the year for us, and these amazingly close ups of a Ringed Neck Pheasant. This is the closest we have ever gotten to one!
