Well, it has been a while since I last posted;
I hope I have not lost my vast following in the interim!
First off: after the canoe trip, on Wed. the 24th, we: Nancy, John our next door neighbor, and I, took a ride on Stukel Mt. again. This time we launched at a new site on the eastern flank of the Mt. from S. Poe Valley Rd. It is a little different terrain than we have been in on the other side of the Mt. We climbed a pretty steep hill to get a wonderful view of the Poe Valley. Our trip lasted about 3 ½ hours and we returned to the launch site right at dusk.
